Cariplo Factory: born in Milano the first hub for digital innovation and job opportunities for young people

In June will open Cariplo Factory an extraordinary place, located at BASE Milan, a big open innovation hub that combines the potential of non-profit and profit sectors. A very ambitious project on which Cariplo Foundation will commit 10 million Euros, with the objective to double them at least through the contribution of additional investors. It start therefore with the essential continuing involvement of big players like Fastweb and Microsoft and the important contribution of Terna and Novartis.

Fastweb and Sky renew and extend broadband and Pay TV partnership

Sky Italia and Fastweb announce the renewal of their partnership with a new agreement extending for a further five years the original agreement which in 2011 led to the launch on the Italian market of the first joint broadband and Pay TV package. The new agreement, in addition to extending the original agreement duration, broadens its scope - extending the number of Sky and Fastweb jointly proposed services, giving customers even more freedom to choose the most suitable option in terms of Internet and Pay TV requirements.

FASTWEB launches new fiber optic plan to reach 50% of the population with speeds of 200 Mbps

Fastweb announces the development of its fiber optic network with speeds of up to 200 Mbps, extending coverage to 50% of the population - therefore 13 million households and businesses in 500 cities by 2020. The new plan builds on the previous four-year plan, which by the end of 2016 will have brought Fastweb fiber optic coverage to 7.5 million households or 30% of the Italian population.
