Each year the emissions that our customers avoid emitting into the atmosphere thanks to the use of our services, exceed the amount of emissions generated by Fastweb and by all related activities to produce them: in 2023 alone, we have prevented our customers from emitting more than 289,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Offers that allow our customers to reduce their environmental impact, for example by reducing electricity consumption, paper use, travel by private or public transport, are identified with the "Fastweb for Sustainability" label, developed together with Legambiente, which has verified and validated the calculation methodology adopted and confirmed the environmental benefits indicated for each product.

Methodological note

The reduction of the environmental impact is indicated for each service, in terms of amount of carbon dioxide - CO2 equivalent - that the client avoids to emit into the atmosphere thanks to the use of our services; the amounts have been calculated applying the method described in the Methodological Note formulated together with Quantis, an international consulting company, a leader in the sector of environmental sustainability.

The methodological note was reviewed and approved by Legambiente.
