Milan, 12 May 2006 - In order to integrate yesterday communication, FASTWEB provides the following further information regarding the Consip bid:
- the value of the Consip bid is approximately of 330 million Euro. Such amount, in line with the communication issued yesterday by Consip, refers to revenues from voice traffic and IP connectivity services;
- coherently with the provision of fixed line services, on top of revenues from voice traffic, the assignment of the bid will entail revenues from line rental and interconnection;
- The overall duration is equal to 24 months (with a possible extension up to a maximum of 6 months)
FASTWEB expects that, once rollout is completed, yearly revenues from the two bids Consip and Cnipa will be approximately 300 million Euro with a pay back time below one year and margins in line with the Company's parameters. Estimated capex for the two projects will be at around 100 million Euro.
