FASTWEB adopts a technology that will allow all its customers to navigate at speeds of over 100 Mbps

The provider will use a new technology that will permit all those customers connected to the FTTC network to navigate at speeds between 100 Mbps and 500 Mbps from 2016. These solutions are essential in the development of the ultrabroadband network throughout Italy and the achievement of the objectives of the Digital Agenda.

FASTWEB announces its 2014 annual results. The telecommunications provider closed 2014 with a 7% increase in its customer base (+130,000 net ads versus 2013), reaching a total of 2.07 million subscribers and thus confirming also in 2014 its leadership as the main Italian provider in the acquisition of new broadband customers.

EN PLEIN ART: in Brescia cabinets become frames for artworks

The Superintendence for the architectural and landscape of the province of Brescia, Cremona and Mantua, the City of Brescia and FASTWEB present the exhibition En Plein ART dedicated to the works of 24 young artists held both on the streets of the city and within the Sopritendenza until January 15th, 2015.

FASTWEB, growth in customers, revenues and margins during first nine months

FASTWEB announces the financial results of the first nine months of 2014. During the period from January to September 2014, the revenues of the telecommunications provider reached 1.230 billion euro, a 1.4% increase with respect to 1.213 billion euro of one year before. Net of low margin interconnection revenues, which the Company is gradually reducing, growth was equal to 2.5%, increasing from 1.179 billion euro to 1.209 billion euro.

FASTWEB announces the extension of its Ultra Broadband network

Following the success of the FTTS plan announced in September 2012 and nearing completion, FASTWEB will extend its Ultra Broadband network to over 100 cities by the end of 2016, thus further contributing to the achievement of the 2020 European Digital Agenda objectives.

Fastweb: customers, revenues and margins grow in the first semester 2014

During the first semester of the year the revenues reached 792 million euro (+1% YoY) and Ebitda increased by 12% to 236 million euro. The number of customers increased by 6% with respect to first half 2013 and the Enterprise segment marked a strong performance. Rollout of the fibre optic network is proceeding according to schedule and in June the network had reached 4.2 million homes and businesses.
