Italy is a world leader in green energy with the highest penetration of residential solar in the world. But many are excluded from being a part of the success story: those who rent (homes or business premises) and those without access to a roof can’t install home solar. That adds up to a lot of people. Also outside Italy, a large and untapped market across the EU, there is a lack of solutions enabling people living in apartments and renting to access clean, affordable energy.

GridShare is a fractional renewable energy solution, enabling people and businesses to own fractions of solar farms. Everyone, no matter where he/she lives, can become an energy producer, earn money and compensate his/her bill, without the bargaining of managing the photovoltaic asset.
