Milan, April 28, 2006 - The new Board of Directors of FASTWEB S.p.A. (Milan, MTAX: FWB) appointed today by the Shareholders' Meeting held its first meeting. The Board, composed of Silvio Scaglia, Stefano Parisi, Mario Rossetti and, as independent directors, Mario Greco, Manilo Marocco, Gianfelice Rocca, Valerio Zingarelli, appointed Silvio Scaglia as Chairman and Stefano Parisi as Chief Executive Officer, and established their powers.
The Directors of FASTWEB will also sit on internal committees formed by the company to support the Board of Directors, as follows:
- Appointments Committee, composed of Silvio Scaglia, Chairman, Mario Greco, Manilo Marocco, Gianfelice Rocca;
- Remuneration Committee, composed of Gianfelice Rocca, Chairman, Mario Greco, Manilo Marocco;
- Internal Control Committee, composed of Manilo Marocco, Chairman, Mario Greco, Gianfelice Rocca;
- Strategy & Business Plan Committee, composed of Silvio Scaglia, Chairman, Stefano Parisi, Manilo Marocco, Mario Rossetti, Valerio Zingarelli.
