FASTWEB (Milano, MTAX: FWB) discloses that the Company has been informed about the decree through which Rome judge Aldo Morgigni had canceled the hearing scheduled for tomorrow, April 7, in order to discuss to appointment of a Judicial Commissioner at FASTWEB and Telecom Italia Sparkle. This follows the withdrawn of the request from Rome Public Prosecutors after the agreement reached last Friday, April 2, between FASTWEB and Telecom Italia Sparkle lawyers and the same Rome Public Prosecutors. Consequently the tomorrow hearing will not take place.

FASTWEB - the Public Prosecutor’s Office has withdrawn the request to appoint a Judicial Commissioner

FASTWEB (Milan, MTAX: FWB) informs, also upon request of Consob, that Stefano Parisi has communicated to the Board of Directors his decision of suspending himself from the office of Chief Executive Officer, until his position in relation to the inquiry involving the Company is clarified. FASTWEB hopes that the suspension may be resolved shortly and reaffirms once again its belief that Stefano Parisi is not involved at any level in the alleged offences that are currently under investigation.

FASTWEB: Silvio Scaglia resigns from Board of Directors

Carsten Schloter, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FASTWEB S.p.A. (Milan, MTAX: FWB), upon being informed today of the decision of Silvio Scaglia to resign, with immediate effect, from the Board of the Company on which he had served as a non-executive director, has aknowledged and accepted Mr. Scaglia's resignation.

FASTWEB - Annual Shareholder Meeting re-scheduled to 22 April 2010

The Board of Directors of Fastweb SpA (Milan MTAX: FWB) has resolved to postpone the Company's Annual Shareholder Meeting, previously scheduled for 24 March, to 22 April. The Board wishes to examine in depth the recent events involving the Company in order to evaluate the matter and present it accurately to Shareholders.

The lawyers of FASTWEB S.p.A. (Milan, MTAX: FWB), in agreement with the Public Prosecutor, have requested a brief postponement of today's hearing in the Court's Private Chambers with the aim of depositing the documentation sustaining the proposal of alternative solutions with respect to the requested appointment of a commissioner. The Rome judge has granted this postponement.

(Milan, MTAX: FWB), acknowledges that its lawyers, in the spirit of full cooperation with the investigating authorities, have formulated some proposals to the said authorities aimed at guaranteeing the utmost level of transparency on the Company's conduct. The lawyers have requested a brief postponement of the hearing of March 2nd in the Court's Private Chambers, in order to allow the authorities to appropriately assess in detail all the technical aspects of the proposals.
