Milano, April 17, 2003 - e.Biscom S.p.A. (Milan's Nuovo Mercato: EBI) announces that, following the decision of the Shareholders' General Meeting of April 14, 2003 on a share capital increase to be offered to employees of the Group at the nominal value of Euro 0.52 per share, the management has underwritten 1,187,124 newly issued ordinary shares of the Company at a price of Euro 24.77 (of which 0.52 of nominal value and 24.25 of share premium), equal to the average market price of e.Biscom's stock during the month preceding the issue, corresponding to a total value of Euro 29,406,248.60.
Following this operation, the share capital of e.Biscom S.p.A. is made up of 49,637,124 ordinary shares at a nominal value of Euro 0.52 each, for a total amount of Euro 25,811,304.48.
