Management to investigate merger feasibility
Milan, February 9th 2004 - The Board of Directors of e.Biscom S.p.A. (Milan's Nuovo Mercato: EBI) met today and delegated the management of the Company to investigate the feasibility and advisability of a merger of FastWeb into e.Biscom.
In the event that the merger is considered feasible and that there are no fiscal disadvantages, the project will be examined in a subsequent Board Meeting in preparation for the Shareholders' Meeting which is presently scheduled for the end of April.
e.Biscom will therefore be able to fulfil all the relative preparatory legal obligations in view of the final decision.
