FASTWEB announces the extension of its Ultra Broadband network

Following the success of the FTTS plan announced in September 2012 and nearing completion, FASTWEB will extend its Ultra Broadband network to over 100 cities by the end of 2016, thus further contributing to the achievement of the 2020 European Digital Agenda objectives.

Fastweb: customers, revenues and margins grow in the first semester 2014

During the first semester of the year the revenues reached 792 million euro (+1% YoY) and Ebitda increased by 12% to 236 million euro. The number of customers increased by 6% with respect to first half 2013 and the Enterprise segment marked a strong performance. Rollout of the fibre optic network is proceeding according to schedule and in June the network had reached 4.2 million homes and businesses.

FASTWEB, revenues stable and margins increase during first quarter 2014

During the first quarter of the year the broadband provider’s revenues were stable at 396 million euro YoY and Ebitda reached 108 million euro (+11%). The number of customers increased by 7%. Investments, 142 million euro, were equal to one third of revenues. Rollout of the fibre optic network proceeds according to schedule and in March the network reached 3.9 million homes and businesses.

FASTWEB, +10% broadband customers in 2013

FASTWEB ended the year with 175,000 new broadband customers and strengthened its position in the Italian market. Profitability improved, EBITDA grew by 1% to 505 million Euro. The operator invested 35% of its revenues in the extension of the fibre optic network to 20% of the Italian population.

FASTWEB and Frecce Tricolori together for Italy

Fastweb has launched a new ad campaign featuring the Frecce Tricolori, the aeronautic demonstration team of the Italian air force. Starting 04 January, the ads will use the flight of the planes to highlight the speed of Fastweb's fibre network, which now covers 20 percent of the Italian population.

FASTWEB’s revenues are stable at 393.5 million euro in the third quarter of 2013 Ebitda grows by 2.5% to 125.7 million euro

FASTWEB announces its third quarter 2013 financial results. In September the optic fiber provider’s customer base reached 1.91 million, with 24,000 new customers gained in the period July - September. The number of FASTWEB’s customers has grown by 207,000 units in one year, confirming FASTWEB as the Italian leading provider in terms of broadband customers’ growth.
