Fastweb S.p.A and Vodafone Italia S.p.A. merge

We are thrilled to share with you news that marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of our company and of the telecommunications market in Italy: starting from January 1, 2026 Fastweb S.p.A. (hereinafter “Fastweb”) and Vodafone Italia S.p.A. (hereinafter “Vodafone Italia”), following the merger by incorporation decided by the respective shareholders' meetings, become a single company under the name of Fastweb S.p.A.

Fastweb and Vodafone Italia are thus joining forces to create a new leader in the country's telecommunications market. With more than 20 million mobile lines and 5.8 million fixed lines, Fastweb S.p.A. becomes the main national infrastructure operator, thanks to more than 20,000 mobile radio sites and a proprietary fixed network of more than 74,000 km, which guarantees complete mobile and fixed coverage, with 54% in FTTH (Fiber To The Home) fiber.
